This has been a two-year staged revamp taking into consideration the following aspects that our retailers were concerned about

PROJECT Initiating points

• Maintenance costs for the refrigeration system were increasing and continuously high.
• Running costs of the system were high as far as kw output.
• No Monitoring or alarms on refrigeration.
• There was no Capacity control for energy efficiency.
• Electrical Evaporator control was purely mechanical.
• Continuous GAS Leaks and plant was running on old type refrigerant.
• Continuous issue with oil return causing mechanical failures on the compressors.

Keeping the existing multiplex Running
Over the two-year period ROCS was able to keep the existing store running and maintained whilst installing the new Multiplex system and Ring Main.

• Ensure the oil return was acceptable without incurring major costs whilst the new system was implemented.
• Constant GAS leak checks and stripping of evaporators to check & uncover gas leaks.
• Pressure test individual lines through extensive Nitrogen testing.
• Implement Evaporator boards where possible to use on existing then to swap over to new system.

NEW Project

With the goals and objections as set by our Retailers we went about the new installations.

• Create a NEW Compressor ENGINE ROOM utilising existing Cabinets.
• New Half V Condensers raised from the floor for maintenance of waterproofing.
• Redirect the piping utilising roof space running proper piping structures with roof shields to keep the piping insulation well maintained.

This allowed us to:

• • Work without disturbing our retailers trade.
  • Easily be maintained and checked once routed and installed.
• Full energy capacity control Multiplex Rack utilising digital and mechanical unloaders. System also allows override so the system can still run if solenoids are problematic.
• Night shift cabinet swap overs to allow the retailers to trade without out loosing turnover.
  • Flush coils
  • Pressure test
  • Clean Coils
  • Check fans.
  • Connect new ROCS Evaporator control boards.
  • Vacuum
  • Commission
• Full Monitoring and alarming system – Remotely Monitor your system anywhere in the world through a basic mobile APP or a dial in through your laptop.

As the retailer has downsized his Generator from a 800KVA to a 450KVA we have had to assist the load reduction on the generator.

• Scheduled start UPS
• Energy Efficient Plant with correct smooth graphs.
• Ensure KVA is kept at a minimum at all times.
