Lusikisiki Superspar based in the small but growing town in Eastern Cape awarded ROCS the refrigeration contract.

This store is unique in its design as it is utilising a few of ROCS energy/cost saving products to give our client the best possible solution for their store. The store consists of 30 refrigerated applications including the following:

⁃ 19 x display cabinets

⁃ 11 x cold/freezer rooms and drop temp areas

The stores cooling capacity requirements are 132kw on medium temp and a total of 28kw on low temp applications. We have offered 2 x satellite multiplex systems to offer a 50/50 back up to ensure the store is protected due to any service related issues. The multiplex systems have been designed to used the state of the art capacity control on all compressors to ensure better efficiency and in turn will provide substantial energy savings and lower maintenance costs due to the remote control system chosen and controlled by ROCS.

The system also includes a 450L heat recovery system (free hot water) which will be distributed to all relevant departments. All cold/freezer room evaporators are manufactured from 302 stainless steel. This is appealing visually but at the same time provides the customer with a longer life span on the equipment.

All departments will be remotely monitored and scheduled using ROCS new and advanced Building Management System (BMS).
